FOR SALE: TRADITIONAL OLD MEDINA HOUSE IN ESSAOUIRA

ESSAOUIRA:
There is a fever in Essaouira.

The fever of the big Make-over, and house owners are waiting to sell because they all are convinced prices are going up in the coming months and years. The Province, the State and the Commune have put effort and money in redoing the streets and as a result the first trendy cafes are showing up. Airlines start to frequent the Essaouira Airport and high end resorts are coming to the region.

HOUSE HUNTING:

It's not easy to find real Estate at a fair budget here nowadays and therefor we were pleasantly surprised to find this charming medina house at a good price.

Humidity problems inside the medina at the ground floor level make this house even more interesting as it is a first floor house on 2 levels with an option for an extra roof terrace. It has it's own private entrance and is perfectly situated in a little side alley from Rue Agadir.

I have examined all floors and the whole building is in need of new plumbing and new electricity if you want to have a well done renovation. However one would want to keep all the original ceilings, floors and tiling as much as possible in tact. Tiling if necessary can be replaced by new cement tiles as we can get them in exactly the same patterns new made.
